The Training Lead is responsible for maintaining a remarkable guest experience and operational success while honoring and encouraging others to follow the visions and values of the restaurant. The training lead is tasked with training and bringing up the next generation of employees. Accountability is extremely important as a training lead, enforcing policies and procedures daily, through positive recognition of employees.
The Lead is responsible for day-to-day task management of restaurant systems, addressing customer concerns/issues, and encouraging/supporting their team. This person is to assist in maintaining a remarkable guest experience and operational success in their designated area. Leads may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager. Much of the lead's job is communicating, time management, and setting the team up for success.
The Manager's goal is to guide the leadership team and team members in their focused area of the business. Much of the manager’s job is to implement systems created by Directors and focus attention on the improvement of restaurant performance and shift operations. Managers will also assist in cultivating their team. Managers must be able to identify bottlenecks and address accordingly, while also being well versed in all areas of the business.
The Director has a large capacity for providing visionary leadership to ensure the overall effort of all team members to achieve business goals. The Director is responsible for ensuring that the cleanliness of the facility, the quality of food served, and the quality of the service provided exceeds guest expectations. The Director is also responsible for operational success through cash management and monitoring labor, food cost, food safety, etc. This individual must be hands-on and able to jump into the fast pace of Chick-fil-A. They execute daily excellence across a full spectrum of operational activities at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
